Katelynn's Bridal Portraits

Katelynn's Bridal Portraits

This past summer, I learned that when a bride gets married to a firefighter or that bride is a firefighter, that bridal portraits are done at a fire station. What a great tradition and the guys at Lexington County Fire Station 4 were so nice and helpful with putting the trucks where we needed them and even giving us ideas because of course, their wives also did bridal portraits at a fire station.

We then decided to go to the wedding venue at T & S Farms in Batesburg and of course it was magical!

I was finally able to do Amanda’s bridal portraits and she nailed it! We decided on a property with a beautiful house that has been turned into a wedding venue. This place is unbelievable. It is away from the busyness of the world and it has a fitting name, Somewhere in Time Manor.

Here’s a few of my favorites!

Elis & Monica Wedding T&S Farm Events Batesburg, South Carolina

Elis and Monica's day finally came!  Their wedding was on a hot Friday in SC, which isn't anything unusual.  I arrived and the bride was just finishing up getting ready for the 'first look' and boy was she a vision.  I knew what to expect because I did her bridal portraits, which you can find further down on the blog, but she still took my breath away.

Elis and Monica met when they were sophomores in high school and both worked at the local party supply store, Party City.  They waited until they graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken before getting married.

The wedding party consisted of close family and friends including a few grooms women who helped me keep the guys in line.  The whole party were wonderful to work with and were so warm and welcoming that I stayed afterwards and helped them celebrate this sweet couple.

These are just a few of my favorites!

Stafford & Kaylyn Elopement Gaston, SC

Saturday April 1st was seriously a gorgeous day.  So much so that Stafford and Kaylyn decided to say their I do's and surprise the rest of their family!  When I arrived at Stafford's parent's house, the front porch was decorated with mason jars with pink, blue and white flowers in them going up the steps and white ribbon that wrapped around the bannisters.  It was such a pretty sight to see!

The guests included Stafford's parents, the girlfriend of the best man and Kaylyn's uncle who also walked her down the "aisle".  The short and sweet ceremony was performed by Kaylyn's mother who did a wonderful job of delivering a sweet speech while holding back tears.

This was by far the sweetest and most special ceremony that I have ever been apart of and I thank the family for allowing me the privilege of capturing these wonderful memories!
